Quick answer
To delete pages from a PDF, add the file, then click each page you want to remove (it turns red) or type the page numbers, such as 2, 5-7. Press Delete pages and save to download a new PDF without them. Your original file is not changed, and nothing is uploaded.
How to remove pages from a PDF
- Add a PDF.
Drop it on the page or press Choose a PDF. Every page appears as a thumbnail with its number.
- Mark the pages to delete.
Click or tap a page to mark it, and click again to keep it. You can also type numbers and ranges in Pages to delete, or select all odd or even pages.
- Save the new PDF.
Press Delete pages and save. The summary above the pages shows how many will be left.
Three ways to pick pages
For a short document, clicking thumbnails is fastest: marked pages turn red and are crossed out, so you can see at a glance what will go. For long files, type the pages instead. 3 removes page 3, 10-14 removes a range and 20-end removes everything from page 20 to the last page. Separate several entries with commas.
Select odd pages and Select even pages help with double-sided scans. If your scanner saved the blank back of every sheet, selecting the even pages removes all of them in one go. Check the thumbnails before saving, because some backs may not be blank after all.
Deleting pages or splitting a PDF?
Split PDF is best when you want to keep a few pages out of many, or cut a document into parts. Deleting fits better when you want to keep almost everything and drop a handful of pages. Either way you get a new PDF, and the pages you keep are copied exactly as they were.
Smaller files, fewer surprises
When you delete a page, the images and fonts that only that page used are usually removed from the file as well, so the new PDF is smaller. That's handy before emailing a long scan. Deleting is also a simple privacy step: it takes out the page with your account number, the internal notes or the old draft before a document goes to someone else. For hidden details such as the author's name, run the PDF metadata remover as well.
No Acrobat and no upload needed
You don't need a paid PDF editor to remove a page. KitFuse runs open-source PDF code inside your browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iPhone. Your PDF stays on your device the whole time, and you can confirm it by going offline once the page has loaded.

Frequently asked questions
Can I delete a page from a PDF without Adobe Acrobat?
Yes. This tool works in any modern browser, with nothing to install and no account to create.
Is my original PDF changed?
No. You download a new copy with -edited added to its name, and the original file stays as it was.
Can I delete every page?
No. A PDF needs at least one page, so the tool asks you to keep at least one.
How do I remove blank pages from a scanned PDF?
If the blank pages are the backs of double-sided sheets, press Select even pages and check the thumbnails. Otherwise, click each blank page to mark it.
Can I undo a deletion?
Before saving, click a marked page again or press Clear selection. After saving, your original PDF is untouched, so you can always start again from it.
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Pages are removed in your browser and the file never leaves your device.
