Short answer
To delete pages from a PDF, open KitFuse Delete PDF Pages, click each page you want to remove (or type numbers like 2, 5-7) and press Delete pages and save. On a Mac, select the pages in Preview's sidebar and press Delete. On Windows, "Microsoft Print to PDF" with a page range is a free workaround, though it drops links and bookmarks.

How to delete pages from a PDF on Windows (the print trick)
Windows has no PDF page editor, but you can "print" only the pages you want to keep into a new PDF:
- Open the PDF in Edge or Chrome and press Ctrl + P.
- Choose Microsoft Print to PDF (Edge) or Save as PDF (Chrome) as the printer.
- Under Pages, enter the pages to keep, for example
1-3, 5, 8-12. - Print and choose where to save the new file.
The catch: printing rebuilds the document, so links, bookmarks, form fields and accessibility tags are usually lost, and some files grow larger. When you want the remaining pages copied exactly, use the browser method above.
How to delete PDF pages on iPhone and iPad
- Open the PDF in the Files app and show the page thumbnails (swipe from the left edge or tap the sidebar button).
- Touch and hold the page you want to remove.
- Choose Delete, then tap Done.
How to delete PDF pages on Android
Android can use the same print trick: open the PDF, choose Print, select Save as PDF, and under Pages choose the range to keep. It has the same drawbacks as on Windows. The browser method works in Chrome on Android without them.
How to remove blank pages from a scanned PDF
Duplex scanners scan both sides of every sheet, so single-sided documents come out with a blank page after every real one. If that's the pattern, select every even page in one go (Select even pages in Delete PDF Pages), then glance at the thumbnails: a back that has a signature, stamp or handwritten note isn't really blank. Scanned "blank" pages are rarely perfectly white, so tools that auto-detect blanks can be fooled by smudges or show-through; a quick visual check is more reliable.
Delete, split or organize?
- Delete pages when you want almost everything and need to drop a few pages.
- Split PDF when you want to keep a few pages out of many, or cut a document into separate files.
- Organize PDF when you also need to reorder or rotate pages, or combine pages from several PDFs.
Deleting pages also helps file size: images used only on removed pages are dropped, so a long scan often gets noticeably smaller. For more savings, follow up with Compress PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Can I delete pages from a PDF for free?
Yes. Mac Preview, the iPhone Files app and browser tools such as KitFuse do it free, with no watermark. Only Adobe Acrobat's page tools require a paid plan.
Does deleting pages change the rest of the PDF?
Not with a proper page editor: the remaining pages are copied exactly with their text, images and links. The print-to-PDF trick is the exception, because it rebuilds every page.
Can I undo deleting a page?
Work on a copy. KitFuse always saves a new file and leaves your original untouched, so you can start again at any time.
Why can't I delete pages from my PDF?
The file is probably password-protected or restricted. Open it with the password and save an unrestricted copy first. Signed PDFs can be edited too, but any change invalidates the signature.
Is it safe to edit confidential PDFs online?
Use a tool that works in your browser without uploading. KitFuse processes the PDF on your device, which you can confirm by going offline after the page loads.
Remove pages from your PDF now
